The CPFAA Board of Directors would like to thank all of this year’s competitors for their attendance. We would also like to thank the Denver Police Department and volunteers for hosting a successful event.

 The 2012 Games will be held in Colorado Springs CO. Tenative dates are August 6th-12th, 2012. Updates and curent information will be posted as soon as we have it.

The state board was formed to develop, organize and coordinate sporting events to instill physical fitness among Police Officers and Fire Fighters, and to offer a competitive and social outlet as well as an added reward for the establishment of a healthy lifestyle. Our goals are quality, safety and an environment that is enjoyable to the entire family.

The state board of directors for the Colorado Police & Fire Athletic Association has selected the following non profit organizations to receive funds once the 2011 Police & Fire Games are completed in August.

Colorado Special Olympics http://www.specialolympicsco.org/ and Breckenridge Outdoor Recreation Center http://www.boec.org/. Every year the board selects several notable non profits to receive any extra funds generated by the games. In 2009 three groups received donations from the board, they were Colorado Special Olympics, Cops fighting Cancer and Make A Wish Foundation. The State games are funded by sponsor donations and entry fees generated by the competitors.
